I've heard and xc 250 weighs 232 ready to ride no fuel. So they have made improvement. And in person the 18s look good! I'm old and not as strong as I used to be so I choose the lightest bike available...husqvarna..my question is if you pull the battery and electric start what does the bike lose and are there any other reasonable priced ways to get weight down to say 216-221 pounds?
GG has HD tubes stock(?). FIM heavy tyres stock. Starter/wiring/battery would only weigh 2-3kg max. Remove sidestand. Chop the fenders to lighten it up Fletch & look old school FMX!
I'm guessing you could easily drop 5kg if it's that big a concern.

They are drinking too much orange kool aid to believe it.
It is simply amazing that manufacturers keep making lighter bikes ever year without fail. Even adding all the weight of the FI components. It is almost as if they are full of shit!

Ranger came in 1-2kg lighter than EC from memory so around the 103kg mark.
