That would be very cool I try to go there twice a year end of July and some were in Aug.
I have tried to put on a Dual Sport Utah Moab 500 fund raiser for Rider Down ride with no success maybe we could make it for a good cause there or here in Moab???????????

Isn't there a combination GG and Husaberg ride in September? I remember talk about that and I have the time set aside from work if it is still going to happen. If you wish to run a charity ride in Colorado, there are a bunch of us GG riders here that I'm sure would help as well as set up the rides/routes and lead (Colorado requires guide permits so we can't guide...But we sure can lead a ride!).

Default Colorado riding

Hey guys: I live in the San Louis valley of Colorado and am always on the lookout for riding partners. I will be looking into getting a ec300 soon (going to rent one from Dualsport Utah next week) but currently ride a ktm 400xcfw and 250xcf. One has great power but is too heavy and clumsey (I'm a light weight) and the other handles better but has not enough bottom end at altitude for climbing technical stuff and likes to spin the tire.

Would you all recommend the 300 gasser over the 250 for this area ? Does the 300 ever send you out of control or tire you out holding on ? I love to climb stuff and do lots of single and double track.

Let me know if you could you could stand company next time you ride. I am refusing to admit that Winter is coming.

If ride much above 7,000 ft. I think you would be much happier with the 300. I rode there last year on my 2007 ec300 and this year on my 2011 ec250. When I go back next year my 250 will have grown another 50cc. I already have the 300 head and cylinder.

Default Still riding over here!

This Saturday's ride, pretty much all 1,2,and 3rd gear if you were lucky. Incredibly fun. 300EC was magic.
