Default unknown wire coming from ECU>????

Hi Guys,

ive got a 02 400FSE which looks to be upgraded to a 450FSE .
Anyway when i removed my battery i found a wire that looks to be Blue and Green striped i followed this wire back to the ECU i runs from the main harness that plugs into the ECU ive tried to find a wiring diagram to explain what im looking at as u can see its been connected previously but dont think its an earth as there is already an earth wire running from the ECU plug
ive added a few photos.

That'd be the traction control, its connected to ground through a 10k resistor or via a switch so it can be turned off if desired. It was deleted on later models due to the cost of the resistor.

Thanks for that mate,
would it be ok to leave it disconnected, also do u know of a wiring diagram that is abit more descriptive than the one in the standard manual

Sorry man, I have absolutely no experience with the 4 stroke setups. I was just feeling mischievous. Thank you spell correct.
