Default Cycra U clamps for a gasgas

Does anyone know what spec cycra 'U' clamps will fit on the gasgas/hebo bars?
I was thinking the KTM ones, as they have the most taper on the bar where the clamps mount, but im hoping someone has already found which ones fit best

thanks noobs

Not sure on the U bolts...I bought the Center Reach Mount (CRM) and they fit ok. The side of the bracket contacts the raised part with the clicker on the forks. I should take them off and grind the bracket slightly.

Thats what I use, I like them a lot. A tip though: use brass M8 bolts to attach the handguards. They have been known to bend/break in a good get off with steel bolts. Brass is strong enough for average falls and impacts, and will give before the mount in a big one. I've personally proven this works, and carry a couple bolts in my too pack.

I dont want to buy just the mounts for most of the cost of the cycras in the first place.
I ordered the ones to fit pro taper bars, dont fit, ill take them back and get the mounts for KTM bars, and work from there.

I also bought the Cycra Center Reach guards (CRM). Both the bar brackets have stress cracks in them, so I called Cycra. They have had many complaints about these mounts, so they have stepped up and are making a beefier bar mount bracket. If anyone has had this problem, give them a call and they will send U the new ones.

Thanks for the heads up flybars, I'll have to check mine out.

Also can you use pro taper or whoever's 1 1/8 bars with the stock triple clamps? Just wondering...my bike has Hebo's on it.

No problem as long as they're 11/8" bars.

Well I found that the solution mount will not work, heres why

The cross brace mounts line up with the bend in the bars, and would hit the fork cap, so you would have to make the cross brace holes bigger and raise the bars to get it too fit and even then the clamps are on a bend so bad clamping.

The stock bars (hebo?) have a strange taper on them in that it tapers very gradually then alot at the top bend, meaning the regular cycra clamps for taper bars were a no go as the bars were too fat. But the good thing with buying the solution mount pack is that it comes with 1 1/8th clamps which meant I could mount the guards in the regular fashion with the 1 1/8th clamps. They fit well, are on the piss slightly but clamp on the bar all the way around with no obvious gaps.

Heres what the result is

So if you want to use the solution mount you will need to live with clamps not fitting properly on the bars for the cross brace and raising the bars, or use the 1 1/8th clamps that come with the set and orientate the guards in the regular fashion. Hope this helps some people in the future
