blue and yellow wire
Unplug the blue and yellow wires start fine when cold but when warm sometimes hard to start,seen to rich have to give it throttle to start blows black smoke.Can I mount a toggle switch in line on blue and yellow wire start on lean setting then switch to race map? Thanks,Bill

This might work - it depends on whether the firmware checks the setting value on "power up reset" or whether it is "polled" while the bike is running.
If it were me - I would try to fix the root cause first. Simple stuff first - like cleaning the air filter and making sure it isn't over-oiled. The fuel mixture can be trimmed to some degree with laptop software - I think your closest dealer is condotta's in wenatchee? jeff p.s.
