My pulse is in my normal range.

But I need information, and Gas Gas does not deliver.

Talking Ranger roll out

Production of the new Ranger will not be until this fall. The factory wanted to wait until Eicma in Milan in November before announcing anything at all because the specifics were not completed yet.

We and a few others stressed the importance of having something new to release on top of the already well received changes to the new 2019 EC/XC and major changes to the TXT Trials.

We pushed hard for this debut just weeks ago and they made it happen (as of last Thursday the final look wasn't even completed), but they listened to us and made it happen in a hurry.

Like i said, we wanted more buzz for the social media and press, rather than debuting in November.....i guess it worked both good and bad huh?

It will have 46mm KYB forks with adjustability, but not the AOS fork, as well as a rear KYB. Engine slightly detuned and good braking components. Its 40mm shorter, but well balanced like its big brother.

I wasn't at the debut this year but the test riders and others that threw a leg over it, loved it.....and even more buzz was generated about the 200 engine in the EC200 that we will be finally getting.

I think that?s a very good move. Good work convincing them.

Any more specifics are appreciated.

Too bad it will be released too late for me. Looks like I will be purchasing in a matter of two or three weeks.

To be fair, GasGas always delivers, but if you expect it to be in the exact same manner as that orange company or any of the japanese brands you'll have to buy one of their bikes to bolster them with a bit more marketing money for next time.

Sometimes it takes a few hours or a couple days to get the details.. I guess in this world of instant info we aren't always used to that. In my opinion though, I'll wait the couple hours for a GasGas! Still the best bike I've thrown a leg over.

That Ranger looks sweet! Always had a soft spot for white bikes with minimal red graphics. Curious what the real world price will be?

There is a total of ONE Ranger right now. It'll all come in November when they officially release the production bike at EICMA. If you need one before then I'd recommend a X-trainer and dumping a ton of money at the suspension, then live with a frame that is sketchy at speed.
Or we'll have to wait till late this year/early next year and pick up a sweet new white Gasser.

But it isn't right to make us shiver with anticipation and giving no further Information ;-(
:-D

BTW I wonder about the "new" two map switch for cdi. Mine from 2006 got one already...
