Default Brake hose routing

Does your brake hose route in front of or behind your clutch hose? Mine came from the factory routed in front but then the grommet at the end of the hose sheath got caught on the top back lip of the headlight shroud /numberplate and ended up kinking up my brake hose and speedo pickup cable mid fork. I had to buy a new brake hose and don't want the same result for the new one. Looking on the GasGas site they have them threaded both ways.
