My bike sounds similar to yours but I'm running a step leaner all over. 38 N3CH#2 175. 20-30C 300M+ GRO50:1 - Plug is looking very nice on one side, lean on the other.

yes, i checked ad it is the 38 mm carb. im in oklahoma and i believe the elevation here is about 1200 ft. i havent decided for sure on a premix oil yet. right now im running lucas at 50:1 and my plug looks pretty good, but i seem to smoke a little more than normal and a little excessive spooge from the sliencer.
