FINALLY.....I have my 07 Gas Gas 300 and officially can become part of the family.

Picked it up last night at about 10:30pm. Jason Smith from Smith's Powersports (GG dealer) drove it up from PA for me since he was attending a wedding today in MA. Man did that work out good and thanks again Jason!!! Nothing like taking a quick spin around the hotel parking lot at 10:30 at night. I think we saw a few curtains fling open to see what was going on.

Bike looks real good but needs to get the guards treatment before hitting our rocks up here. Also I don't like the Hawkins bars on it and they need to go ASAP. 08 seat seems good to me from the bounce test but I like firm seats. Allot to do to get it personalized but this is going to be fun

So now I own a 97 KTM 250 (with linkage) and a 2007 Gas Gas 300. It will be interesting to see what a 10 year difference will bring to the table.

So does that mean you said goodbye to your 625? Your Ds mount was a sxc? or lc4?

Yes the dual sport will be going soon. Have to do it to fund the GG. I have 3 people interested in it as of now. Whoever buys it will be getting a really nice bike. Less then 2K miles and pimped. I rode it less than 10 times in 3 years so hopefully it will go to a better home.

The SXC is an LC4 based bike. The 04 is the last year they imported the SXC and the only year it got the FCR carb. It also has the high flow head which was added in 03 I believe. Cool bike really but I know I'm doing the right thing giving it up for the GG.

So did Skidad go to work today or did he go riding? Should that be the new poll? LOL

Funny guy NH Rider

I can't see, touch or ride the bike until next weekend since I have to store it at a friends house 40 minutes from me

He also forgot to bring all the manuals so I can't even check out that stuff

I'l just order goodies for it instead
