Raise the clip one notch to lower the needle and allow less fuel.

Here's my pluglet.. for comparison. This has quite a few hours on it..

But really looking at a plug doesn't really tell you too much unless if you run it with a certain intent and know what you're looking at.

Yes - That is my bike - it also has a Active Minds Engineering Route sheet holder on it as well. My son's bike is an older 2003 KTM EXC - and he has been bugging me about a newer bike with an electric start. My Yamaha wr450 and Christini are a bit heavy for him - so really need to shed the herd a bit and get him something more manageable.

I'm doing it with a lot of hesitation - because the Christini has been critical at the New England Classic kids ride when I'm helping with the kids get up the steep hills or out of mud holes. It's also a blast going through mud holes and riding in the snow.

I pulled it off Craigslist - really don't want to give up on this bike - it's just awesome in the mud, steep hill climbs, and snow.

Tonight - I changed the float height once again - from 7 to 9mm - still smokey at idle - but it's idling now.

I put in the J&D Blue needle - clip 2 - Talk about a night and day difference between the red Clip4 and Blue #2. 1/4 throttle and the wheel comes right off the ground. I'm glad i have the throttle tamer on it. I have a 175 Main in it.

Now I need to fill the tank and see what I get for Gas Mileage this weekend.

I really don't want to lean it out anymore - because the power will become unsafe for me or my son in the woods.

Thank you everyone - it's been a huge struggle...

Lenny

From the little I know I think best results are from an n3_ _ or an ne_ _ needle range
I had the ktm n3eh and it was a bit more spunky than the nedw that I have now
