Default Kick starter gear with zip ties
Any one run into zip ties around the kick starter gear on a 2007 GASGAS 300 EC.

Seems like it's meant to preload the spring. I think the teeth were not engaging correctly and threw over so that's why.

The teeth round over time due to constant kicking instead of getting the bike to top dead center and hitting it. A new pinion and spring solves this. You've found a bodge and a half!

Excellent thanks must work I have never had any trouble with the kick starter.
