Sounds good. I am not fast by my standards but would just like to ride some where different for once. I am going to bring my Friend on his RM125 and he is much faster then myself. Sounds like a good weekend.

I'm probably still in, I'll confirm when I get home on Sunday (I'm still in Europe).

What's the final list of people coming?

Unshure on who is coming. I might not be able to make it due to some broken parts of my bike. I might get the parts here in time.

Unfortunately I am out as well. I have been to Bear Creek a couple times and it is an awesome place that I am sure would be better with a guide. I was looking forward to this but it will have to happen another time.

Well, MapQuest estimates +5hours/420km from Whistler to Kelowna (via Pemberton, Lillooet, Lyyton, Spences Bridge, Merritt, and then the Connector [97C]). That's a helluva a drive for a ride! And there shouldn't be any hassles getting a bike into Canada. Unfortunatley, it sounds like the ride is imploding anyways. Perhaps the timing isn't great for everyone. There's a riding clinic at Bear Creek that same Saturday, and there's an enduro in Naramata (near Penticton) on the Sunday, so things are busy.

As I said earlier, regardless, my brother and I will be riding/exploring around my home in Summerland that weekend. So if you just have to have your 2 wheel fix, you could ride down here.

Regards.

Dale

Les and I are "out" as well. I am too busy with work and too many chores around the house to do before the rains set in...

sounds like a lot of fun but after driving from oregon the day before, it sounds like quite a ways to go. so I think I'll explore areas closer to whistler. do you know of good riding in that area? anyone local to there that rides?
