Default Newb

Appears that I'm about 24 hours away from my first gasser so to speak. Another pumpkin convert, just wanted to try a different flavor this time around. Bought an 01 300 from a site member down in Oregon and plan on making a trip South tomorrow to pick it up. I hope that the weather behaves as they have snow in the forecast. I'll try to post something after the first ride regarding my impressions of the bike. This should be alot of fun!

Well it appears that old man weather has given us a break. Going to wait until sunrise and head for Oregon. Only seven more hours!

Yep - streets are totally dry here in Portland. And new weather forecast has no precipitation until mid-day.

It was great to get to meet you in person Carl. I picked up my new 250 on the way home.. Already working on the left hand rear brake, hopefully gonna go roost some red clay next Saturday!

Congrats on the new ride, I hope that the driving conditions improved on your way home. Little Jeff is going to take me out for some humble training next Saturday as well over at Belfair. That is unless the work situation goes South again. Will be interesting to see how you take to the left hand brake.
