Ride report on Glenn's old / my new 07 ec250 !
A little background. Coming from a 04 525 exc pumpkin I bought a 1999 ec 250 the beginning of last summer off of Craigslist and rode it hard all summer. Till one day during the fall when I had a flywheel failure. So I liked the bike so much I decided to do a tear down and fix sh*t right. In the mean time Glenn put his 07 and 11 on the market. Thankfully my finances came thru before anyone else's and I picked up the 07 last week. First impression was extremely clean and put together well with pipe guards, chain slide, rb head mod, carb jetted crisp,chain like new clean, all extras lights etc race plate etc etc... Pretty great deal the way it is set up. Wait it gets better. I took the bike out last Sunday well holy sh*t what a difference in engine performance over the 1999 setup and I was happy with that. This is just a flat out screamer.. for the first two hours of the ride I was holding on for dear life on the rocky as hell trails I was on. After 3/4 of the ride I finally got the groove of the engine and bike. This thing flies I love it. I need to re-spring it properly for my fatass but other than that this bike is dialed in perfect. Feels super solid thru n thru over really rough terrain. The person who ends up getting Glenn's 11 is going to be really happy. that thing is set up even better than the 07. Can't wait for Sunday going to st Claire hopefully to rip some more and get used to the ride some more. Seat time seat time seat time. Congrats! I love that bike. Got to try it out before. Glenn really sets his bikes up nice. His 03 was really nice too. Have fun up in St Claire!.. just past me. If I was going out this weekend I'd join you but prepping the Jeep for a road trip.

Oh it is so awesome ! I went out again this past crazy hot Sunday and flew. The bike is super tight and nimble through the crazy rocky stuff around here. Can't wait to get out again.
