Default I installed a Recluse 3.0 on my 200 six days 2011it shakes and shutters?

So I am getting my new 200 ready to ride and one of the things I did was install a new recluse 3.0 but it shakes and shutters as I take off ? The bike also seems to stall ? I turned in the idle screw in but it did not seem to make a difference ? Any help would be appreciated I am planning on going to Hatfield n McCoy next Tuesday .

Mine will make some noise if I'm in a tight section and I'm one or two gears too high. Everyone has told me thats normal if you ride in too high a gear. I don't have any noise at all starting from a dead stop.

If your bike stalls with a Rekluse, something is not right on the installation. The whole idea behind the auto clutch is not stalling...... The chatter is normal as Moto7man says if you ride in to tall a gear.

Go back and read the instructions. Twice. Too many plates? Do you have the adjustable slave?

I'd pull it completely out and start over double-checking each step as you go. You have to be missing a part or have too many/not enough plates or they're out of order. Some of the kits have you reuse parts from your stock clutch and often shims will stick to the throwouts and you can miss swapping them over. After it's all said and done, check your free play gain and make sure that you have bled your clutch well if your kit has the adjustable slave.

Also, my GG 200 needed an extra shim in the clutch to make it operate properly but my 300 didn't. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to whether you need that shim or not other than if you have it all in there absolutely correct and it's out of adjustment clicks.

Just an idea, check your free play gain, here is the Rekluse video on checking that measurement,

The rekluse doesn't like thick oil. They recommend she'll Rotella t for all their clutches

I've had a couple of version 3.0 where the wedges did not throw at the same time. If you look closely at the wedges you'll see they're slightly grooved and it takes an hour or so for them to fully wear into the Teflon buttons.

From your description this is exactly what happened.
