Default Montesa Colt 315R Trials bike?

Anyone know anything about these bikes? I found a 1998 model in my price range and I'm just wondering if it's worth it ($2800 CDN)? I've never ridden trials but I'm looking at getting into it for cross training.

Oops, misspelled the bike - it's a Montesa COTA 315R.

Hi,
Would recomend it.
I have 97 model and have had it for about 6 years without any trouble.
Engine is from Honda and parts can be ordered from any Honsda dealer and I think it's a wellbuilt trial with high quality.

Not the most powerfull or lightest but a very good average clubman trial and many wan'ts them for smothness on low rev's.

Also like rear rim as spokes not going trough the rim, Tyre is tubless.
More secure for flat's.

One thing to be careful with are directing throttle cable correct when removing gastank. Otherwise easy to have no wanted full throttle when turning.
In Sweden where I live I would get around CAD 2200 for my -97

No no, you must buy a Gasgas

Any bike you do it on, trials is the most of fun.

I'd prefer to get a GasGas, but I can't afford a new one and there isn't any used ones around. Thanks for the reviews guys.

I'm going to try and negotiate a trade for my 01 EC200. Should be a fair trade, as my 200 is still in decent shape, but it does have a lot of hours on it.
