Default New Pampera in the US?

Do any dealers have these in the US? Are they being imported by Barret or the trials distributor?

Apparently so, the bike shed has them listed at $5795 MSRP. It's just my guess, but I would think that this bike would be special order. And Iron Mountain Motorsports (barrett) would be the importer.

Hope you can soon get them. Ive done over 4000k on mine since october and I love it. Its basically the 450 with standard forks and a carby instead of efi.
Heaps of linear power with no throttle bog and you don't need a laptop to change the idle.

If you look close, and compare it to the FSE/FSR, are there a lot of lighter duty components including the frame? Thats how the 250/280s are/were. My wife has an '02 250 and while its a great bike for her (light duty), its not in the same league as an EC/DE.

Almost identical to the fse. Most components are shared. The 400 pampera has a carby, marz forks and a less adjustable rear shock. Weight is the same, fuel capacity is a little more due to no fuel pump in tank. 'Tis a good trail bike when set up with proper guards and here in Australia it has a ride away price on road with full rego of about $9800AUD. This is about 2500 to 3000 less than fse, husky, wrf etc.
The new 2007 fse will actually look lighter in the frame than the '06 pampera in the above photo.

Default '07 Pampera 450?

I read that the new 2007 Gasgas Pampera will be a 450 cc machine.

Has anyone seen one of these yet? cause it would be heaps cheaper than the FSR450 and the seat height is more reasonable for shorter riders too.

Default electric 450

Yep the new 2007 GG Pampera is going to be a electric start with a carby not efi and no upside down forks.
This bike already makes more power than the DRZ-400 which is its only real competitor.
And the price is about $3000 less than the FSR-450, fantastic I say and I may have to trade up from my fse400.
