04 fse450. turned of wont restart.

Went for a long ride (200km) not a problem. Got home, shut it of, went to put it in the shed an hour later and no go. Fuel pumps fine, spark looks great but slightly erratic. Cam timing is ok. According to the manual. Set up exh cam count back fifteen pins and lines up with the intake cam. Any ideas anyone? Ive tried everything. It does fire but wont run. The occasional backfire and occasional inlet pop. Is there anyway the ecu could be playing up? Thank you everyone.

Are your injectors spraying,is the plug wet with fuel?

Its getting fuel as it fires and very slightly runs for a sec. Plus i put 20ml of fuel straight into it with no different response. Can the cam gears slip on the camshafts? If so hows this checkable? I have a manual but it doesnt mention it.

The many problems with my Cannondale,one that had your symptoms was a spun flywheel.I dont know if the gasgas 4strokes are prone to that.

Have you tried to start with full open throttle? Sometimes i have similar problem and then it will start only with full throttle.
If it pops/backfires...turn off ignition, then back on and full throttle start.
