2004 ec 250 or 2011 ec 250??????
hi people, just after any input on what to do
i have a 2004 ec 250 which i'm more then happy with. would i benefit by getting a newer bike, that is the question!!! I do alot of enduro riding, im just looking to to get that edge to improve my riding! Is there any real benefit spending ?4000 on a newer model or getting my engine and carb set up on the dyno and getting my suspension professionally set up??? ?600 VS ?4000 thanks lee |

If you are happy with it I would upgrade the suspension and call it good. Newer isn't always better. I've made the mistake of "upgrading" only to find that I was faster on the old bike.

Just my 2 cents...
2011 will have a stronger pull.
To me the 2011 looks more heavy at lower speed and stable at high speed.

IMO a newer model is almost always a step up, but you won't find the magic your looking for without the engine, carb and suspension revalve mods to suit you.
