2006 EC250 to EC300 conversion

As far as I know, the motors have changed very little from the 05/06 250/300. If it worked on mine, it should work on yours?
The 200 was a different thing all together.

Compare the part no.s from the parts fiche that you can download. I always thought they were only different as you think: cylinder stuff, reed spacer and jetting. The ignition may be slightly different on the modern one but I think that used to be the same.

125 chassis? Quick, somebody get a welder and a YZ250F motor!

Seriously, the 300 won't fit in that frame. EC125s are scarce so finding a motor may be tough.
