New Blue Plastics
Here are a coupe pics of the newly restored GG. It got a FULL chasis rehab(new used frame, swingarm and lots of smaller parts.) My 99 was blue, I had forgot how sharp it looked.
The second pic also give a good rear view of my homebrew radiator guards. |

Whats the deal with mounting the tank higher in the frame? looks good in blue BTW.. and if its a 300 you could change that to a 3stroke on the swingarm...

Wow. That looks great. Who makes that plastic? My 2002 could use some freshening, and your bike looks great. Can you please let us know?
Thanks. blitz |

Really? Never noticed it,, my 03 didn't have it(too old) and never needed it. Never had a seat come loose in the front before.

The plastic is the Polisport kit GOfasters sells. $150 for the whole set from my local dealer.
The new used swingarm came with the sticker. I couldn't think of a good reason to take it off. The shifter tip has been optimized for woods duty, The brake pedal was the same but I added some fluff to it to appease the people I let ride my bike. The tank was spaced up to leave room for the wiring and radiator cross over line to run under the tank, the seat also fitsbetter as well as someone mentioned. MIght work on any year bike, this is an 07. Widebear, I should have had the frame powder coated. Your paint job looked great, so great It made me think I'll do a couple more coats to cover up the bare metal from some welding I had done on the frame. Turns out the directions on the can were not kidding it needs to be at least 50 to paint. The paint is still not cured fully and very fragile. Lots of chips and scratches in the three rides since I took the pics. Yes the forks are the twin camber 50mm, they are AWESOME! |

Looks sweet Paul!
I also like the blue. Both my 04 and 06 300's were blue. I'm sure the resto is a huge improvement and feels tight and new again. looks like ya splurged and got a new pipe also. Roscoe
