Default Crossover for BE870002510 silencer?

I need a new can for my EC300 Racing, m.y. 2009.

Is there an alternative to the OEM silencer BE870002510 ?

Why? Has the std inner fallen apart? You can rebuild them with some perforated tube and someone with a welder.

Rivets won't last long and hence the rivet holes have stripped through the shell.

Drill it out and use the next larger size of rivets?

You can get some larger but larger head rivets that hold better, you know the ones? They are like 12mm heads.

Hi Mikeyx

If you decide to replace your silencer, I can strongly recommend the DEP silencer, good quality and great price...

See this post...

Thanks Dave - this is just what I've been looking for.

The flange of the incoming pipe, which is riveted to the shell, has no longer holes but U-shaped openings instead...

Found the root cause to my problems. Retainers BIC050526004 and BE25626004 were toast.

I found an OEM silencer for an affordable price from gasgas-outlet.de. They deliver to Europe only.
