Smile Cliff section of Juniper Ridge

If you fall, make sure it's not to the left of the trail This had the BP up a fair bit.

Brad, great footage! Really the best I've seen showing the level of sketchyness

Youve got more guts than I do. I don't like those sections one bit!

We also hit 119 for 1st time 3 weeks ago and I love that one.

Nice work buddy. Glad you were able to get up there and enjoy the amazing fall riding.

Thanks Russ

119 was a ton of fun, perfect way to cut back toward trail 270 and that side. Have you ever down Green Mountain - 110? That was another new section we hit this time and what a blast, climbs quickly with lots of switch backs on the way up, but getting to the "top" is cool and then it winds its way through the forest on the way back down to Horseshoe lake - really frickin' cool.

Have not been on 110. Have any video of that one?

Probably won't be up there again this season, but planning on exploring lots more next year.

Just finished cutting through it yesterday, planning to get it uploaded to YT today if all goes well . I'll post the links here when it's up

Yeah, it's getting a bit late in the year to hit some of the fun up there. I'm just glad the forest service peeps reopened the area and we had a clear weekend, thought I was going to have to wait until next season to enjoy the Giff.

LOL, think I would have preferred to be walking in a couple sections. If you think that was gnarly, check out the Sunrise peak video below. Fast forward to roughly 4:10 mark and watch to 5:45ish.

And we saw goats on that trail...lol.

Again, that's the best footage I've seen of that trail and puts it into perspective how high up you really are! I'd probably do it, but wouldn't be happy about it

Thing is, they're only those small sections that are so sketchy. The rest of the trail is awesome. Doesn't Boundary have a couple of those sections too?

Ask and you shall receive...LOL. These three cover the majority of trail 110; the first shows the switch-back fun, the 2nd is mainly the top, and the 3rd is the way down to Horseshoe lake.

To answer your other question, yes - Boundary trail has some nasty stuff at the west end. Our first year out we hit one of those sections and it really got to me - good long drop to the left and it went on for (what seemed like) an eternity...lol.

Brad,

Thanks a bunch!

Awesome trail! That's definitely on the list for next year. Looks like it links to #116 which I've watched as well and looks very fun!

How far is #110 from cat creek campground? Seems like you could make a great 2-3 days out of Cat Creek with the 110/116 the blue lake/Hamilton trails and of course the very fun 270.

Now just have to wait until next summer
