Default devap valves

Hello everyone
I made a leakage test on my GG 250 2011. I noticed that the had to close the devap valves also (right and left sides of powervalve). The leakage test was OK but I want to ask...the devap valves are one-way valves? Is it possible the engine to suck air from there?
