wr/yz rear pedal upgrade

hi im trying to fit my wr brake pedal, I think it will fit with some bending but what im finding is threaded rod thing excuse the name is about 10 to 15mm to short.
has anyone come across this and what was the result.

Yes, I had to bend the pedal a bit to make it fit closer to the clutch cover so that it would not snag rocks or other debris. I also had to extend the threaded rod from the master cylinder. I fabricated an extension by welding a coupling nut to a short length of threaded rod. I had to trim down the rod from the master cylinder a little, as after adding the extension I had too much length.

ive got the reverse problem ive got to bend mine out a bit im sure it was from the years stated.
