Hi folks, long time no posts.... apologies if this is done to death but search clunky on android Tapatalk (for my Noddy site phone).

Any recommendations?

Need to fix my exhaust, good time for tyres... Garage are offering Pirelli MT43 and Dunlop. Only ever used the OE Michelins... Clueless TBH, help required

Depends of course on your terrain, type of riding etc, but my tire of choice for the rear nowadays is the Mitas C18 with a green stripe.

Up front I tend to use a couple of different, the matching Mitas C19 (still one green stripe) has good grip in the woods / stones / roots / etc if its not too muddy or too deep sand. In deep mud and sand I use Bridgestone mud tire, I think its named M101.

Oh, I should of course have understood that from your Pirelli MT43 reference. TBH, my head is filled with enduro these days, so I always presume everybody else has it the same way

In that case you could always try posting in the trials section

For trials, I have done like you, used only Michelin tires

Did a bit of reading up and the MT43's were getting a mixed write up.... hard compound and probably more suited to rock climbing on an enduro bike.

Gone for another set of Michelins.... not cheap but cheaper than straightening the exhaust again, or skidding on a rock and breaking a bone.
