Default Loose Airscrew

I was messing with the carb on the 04 200 today, and noticed that when I went to adjust the airscrew again after riding it had vibrated shut, I set it 1.5 turns out rode again for ten minutes or so and it vibrated shut again.

I guess I need to get a new one , but I thought it was odd.

Has this ever happened to anybody here before?

THe bad thing is now I might have to start over unless my settings that I have now will work when I get a airscrew that will stay set.

there is supposed to be a spring that keeps the screw where you put it..... is the spring still there?

No,the spring is gone. I just looked @ the exploded picture and saw that there is supposed to be a spring.

THe bad thing is ,I may have to start over on my testing unless the last set up is the right one by chance.

like a set screw? i know its supposed to be an air screw, but theres a spring around it that should hold it from moving. is that spring shot maybe?

ok gotcha. well good luck. i would think that if it ran well when you would set the screw, then you shouldnt need to change too much at least.
