Hi lads, Im new to this forum so id just like to introduce myself and what not, Im 18 and live in Ireland, ive had My 00 GasGas ec200 for 3 years now and she's never missed a beat (well apart for the inlet manifold cracking but not to worry) i've had cr's kx's the lot and i got a spin on a 2010 ec 300 and i just fell in love so i made the choice to get a gasser unfortunately i hadn't got a huge buget, but i ended up with 00 Ec200 and well to be honest i couldn't be happier with it! it rips alone and is so reliable, think a few of the lads are jealous with how reliable it is hehe theres a pic of it http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...type=3&theater

Welcome aboard! I'm relatively new to GasGas, as well. Unlike enthusiasts who ride "other" brands(japanese or euro), The GG almost seems to have a small, but cult-like following. In my area, it's very rare to see them at a trailhead, unless it's a GG gathering.

thanks for the welcome lads, @bowhunter i wish there was more gassers around where i ride, out of the 30 or so guys that i ride with (apart from racing) im the only one with a gasser, they haven't a clue how reliable they really are im constantly getting slagged for riding a (GayGay) -_- but i'll have the last laugh when they break down hehe Brrraaappp

Where are you based in Ireland? I'm on my second GG it's a 2012 EC250 e-start. They're a great bike & the engines will last longer than their respective Orange or Blue rivals! Are you going to do the Longcross team event on the 18th of this month in Doon? It's a good event if you can make it.

I live in Blanchardstown, where abouts you from? oh Very nice! hopefully this time next year (all going well) i'll have a 2012 or 2013 EC250 but still going to keep the 00, sentimental value and what not haha. i dont think so, i have the bike stripped down doing all the bearings, tyres, chain and sprockets + some 05 plastics hehe so she'll be all fresh for the winter!. i was meant to do the last longcross in august but i crashed the week before and broke my collar bone did you see a ginger lad in a sling by any chance? haha
