Default Cycle Playground

A friend of mine suggested Cycle Playground in PA to have my head reworked on my 2011 200, does anyone experience with them doing head work on thier Gas Gas? Thanks

Dan

One member here did with excellent results. They do a lot of KTM stuff as you would expect. Good guys, very involved in our harescrambles series.

I had Mikey do some milling work for me in the past. I have seen the work he has done on KTM heads he has there in the shop.. nice work.. Does some interesting projects too. Both Mike Sr and Jr are very knowledgeable and great guys that truly love this sport.

Now that I've had some time to evaluate the mod I can say for sure that they gave me exactly what I asked for. The bike now has more lowend torque and I'm able to keep the bike in 2nd and 3rd gear now going around tight corners. Where as before the head mod I would have to down shift before entering in order to pull through some of the really tight stuff. I would say the bike is now able to pull 1/2 gear higher in any given situation than it was before the head mod. This was achieved without the loss any topend over rev, just like I asked. I was very impressed. This mod alone has made a bigger diference than any pipe I've tried and is well worth the $60 it cost to have done. I'm very happy with this mod and they will be recieving the head off my 07' Honda cr125 soon.

Found the thread and took the info. Links to pics were broken.

Mike does good work , he has done some head for a few friends and they are very happy with his work. I had to put them all on.

Thanks, It sounds like I can't go wrong and sending my head out to PA is a lot closer that the west coast. I just need to get some more bottom end out of this bike. I hoping to replicate my 01 that had a motor like a KDX on steriods.

Just make sure you tell Mikey what fuel your running and what your wanting to get out of it. More info the better..

He did head work on my KTM 200SX. It runs great. I have never heard anyone complain about his work. I'll use him again. Head work is usually the best bang for the buck you can get.
