Default Gas tank shroud

The plastic insert that holds on the tank shroud pulled out. I was wondering what you guys have done to fix this. It's not just the screw it's self it is the hole plastic inserts. I am not able to get it back in due to the shape.

Filled the hole with a black epoxy resin, drilled a small hole to guide the self tapper and away you go again.

For the tanks with the nut in, put a small amount of resin in the hole reset the nut and wait to set.
