I have to say no. No one in North America has even heard of Reiju let alone the fact there is no dealer network for bikes or parts. I would be more inclined to buy a Jotagas as I know parts support will be in place when they do get up and running this spring. That being said the re sale on both would be very low. I think the Reiju would need to be re branded for the North American market. They would also need to fix the e start issues witch still plague the current models. The starter motors need to made in Japan imo.

Default Rieju

I wouldn't be too concerned about no dealer network in the US market. 75% of the "current" GasGas dealer are not going to be able join KTM (or want to) due to the KTM business model. So within time when Rieju is ready, you will see some good dealers become Rieju dealers.

Rieju is already working on a few of the "updates" to the platform. Trust me, i think they were probably bombarded by many distributors across the globe about some of the minor issues to a great bike. Issues that GG never really addressed due to mismanagement and lack of R&D funding.

Plus there might be a few new tricks up Rieju's sleeve. Time will tell, its early yet, but expect 2021 models by mid to late summer in the US.....by someone.

I would be a dealer for them as long as they still used the true GasGas format. I doubt that I will be able to afford to stay on with the new GasGas/KTM/Husqvarna company.

That's great.
After seeing the new RIEJUs, the Austrian GasGas' aren't even in the running for my next bike.

100% would buy when ready to update but I doubt Rieju will ever be available in Australia. I can only hope for "shipping to Australia" being an option for parts.
