Default 2011 TXT 300 GG starting propblem

Hi Guys,

My 2011 GG TXT 300 is not starting and was running great up until, I turned it off and now its not starting. Good gas, clean air filter, good spark, reed valves is in great shape and compression is good.

When kicking the bike over, it feels very different and I am not able to give it the hard kick that?s needed for it to start up.

Just looking for some help on troubleshooting this problem, as I am new to gg Trial Bike.

Could the Kickstarter gear be worn-out and require replacement?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Can you push start it? If so, how does it run then?

That is a great question.
Its my first trial?s bike. Due to high compression and the gearing, it's very difficult to push start this type of bike to the best of my knowledge.

Thank you for your help

try selecting a higher gear,2/3/4th gear...
have someone push you and you stand on the pegs and then dump the clutch.

Get the charge rate measured straight out of the regulator, (still plugged in) I bet you will have voltage drop issues. Get a proper auto electrician to sus it if out of your depth.
You can do voltage drop tests from the negative and positive feeds out of the regulator to where the drop is if so. My mates was losing about a volt across the light relay.
