Fuel map questions for '05 FSE 450
I have obtained a service bulletin titled "tuning for races" with instructions to disconnect the yellow and blue wires under the gas tank for a richer fuel map. It has been suggested I might want to install a toggle switch so I can instantly go back to the lean map if necessary. Is there any reason one would want access to the lean map?

From what I have heard, most switch from the stock map to the race map and never go back. The map that comes stock appears to be aimed at meeting emissions standards - given that, I wouldn't think you'd need to switch back to it for any reason. Me, I would just unplug the wire.

I have a couple other bulletins addressing grinding the throttle stop and starting the bike. Good info I got from the local dealer. The dealer I bought my bike from were nice guys, but, by the service managers' own admission, knew nothing about the bike and were able to offer no help or insight.
