Sounds like a bit of a challenge.
Check both stator wires to ground with a multimeter and that should tell whether it is floating ground or not , without removing anything. Hid for the headlight?, Led replacement globe for the Brake/taillight. Good luck mate. Mark |

Another (BUMP from the PAST)
Finished the KDX240SM and got it street legal. Went with a SuperMoto theme. Did the AD/DC mod. by isolating the rectifier/regulator and all of the lighting system from the frame. This is opposite of Floating the 2K3 Stator ground mod from the other posts. Seems to work just fine. Charges the battery and gives steady bright lighting. Sorry, It's not a GasGass But there is one in the background of the second picture..... Jeff. |

I always enjoy reading your posts. Looks like U went thru the whole bike and repainted etc. Mint condition. Last spring I bought a '03 KDX220 with less than 100 miles on the odometer. Also brand new conditon.

Thank you. BTW. It does have a GasGas EC wiring harness. Bought from one of the forum members. It was a frame up restoration that I did 4-5 years ago. It just sat in my living room as a piece of static art in off road form. I got the SuperMoto bug a few years ago and decided to convert it. Since I have an EC300 for my off road bike. I figured I would never use the White KDX off road again. Jeff |

Did it work with this automative DC flasher on the original blinkers`? or did you change to led blinkers? my original blinkers have stopped working so i am lookning to change the flasher. the automative ones are 1000% cheaper:-) |
