Default Crankshaft journal repair.

I have searched several threads but can't find the one I'm looking for. Someone had wrote before about a shop in California that can hard chrome then machine the crank main bearing journals back to spec. Anyone know which shop that was?

That was probably me, I had a GG 125 crank sent out for metal spray and remachine to tighten a loose fitting ignition side journal, then rebuilt. I sent it to Motowest, not sure who they used. Turned out great BTW and still running. The shop in the link sounds more than qualified.

Thanks for the fast replies. Motowest is the one I was looking for. I had planned to just use the EC250 as a old beat around bike but a new bike is unfortunately not going to happen any time soon so, I may end up doing a full quality rebuild of the GG.

Why not just buy a used crank? I've got a good one but it needs the nylon stuffers for the crank cheeks , has a good rod on it .
