Valve adjustment???
Hi all.I have a 05 FSE 450 I got about a month ago with 88 miles on it, great bike love it.I have 527 miles on it now what is the valve clearance and how often does it need to be checked? Do you have to use Gas-Gas shims or will others work? Thanks

I haven't played with mine in a while but you can down load a manual from this site. I was told Suzuki or any of the other Jap bikes use the same size shim and I bought a shim kit with all the shim sizes and then some so I'll have them on hand. A GasGas rep told me to keep the correct gap for easier starting. .015 intake .020 exhaust ?
