I don't even own a set of spikes. One of those things that cost a lot at a bad time of the year. Plus, the snow here is very hit or miss with a lot of sharp edge rocks. Last year would have been worth it, but more often than not they would sit on the shelf or risk destruction. I can see being a bit more north it would be worth it. I really should just buy them and do it, but getting a '12 and setting it up this winter, not to mention the kids bikes, will eat up my budget and more.

Tuxedo ridge was great, all partys happy. I will do mosly ECEA hare scrambles next year with my kids, but Tuxedo is only 40 minutes from my house.

Congrats. I got my bike from Scott and he is a great guy to work with and can't say enough good about him. I thought that was in his showroom before I even read where you got it. You'll love it.
