Default Future GasGas 4 stroke?

I remember when Torrot took over there was talk of a some new GasGas thumpers eventually. Any word on those? Would really like to see a 350.

EICMA is in a month and a half. If it is a 2019 release it will be uncovered there. But if I had to put my money down on something it would probably be on a 2020 Model Year release at the 2019 EICMA.

For good reasons I do expect to see something exciting at EICMA this year, but I'm not quite sure what it is.

Ahh. Well if it's Exciting, it won't be a foul stroke.

Saw someone racing an ALTA at the NEPG Enduro. At the gas stop he had to pull a fresh ALTA out of the van to continue on with the race..............which isn't legal. Electric will need to have a FAST way to swap batteries or be able to go for 4-5hrs at a time. Neither is possible right now.

GasGas needs a couple of 4 strokes to fill out their line up. There are only so many buyers for 250/300 2 strokes.

The next big jump in batteries (full adoption of Lithium-Graphene battery technology) will go a long way towards that end.

And... Alta needs a quick change battery.

How many miles/hours were the getting at race pace?

Can't be much.. I saw a guy hour out at the second gas stop here at an Offroad Ontario race trying to charge his battery on a generator....

That?s a good indicator. How far to the 2nd gas stop?

Did he get there on one battery?
