2K3 = 70W maximum
Voltage depends on your regulator (or rectifier if estart), assume about 14V

here says near 85W, so with 14 wolts it's near 6A, and if 12 wolts - 7A. ok.

My fan is 12 wolt 3.8A - will it survive direct install?

Direct install on an estart bike can run your battery down. Particularily important in slow bushwacking situations.

A kickstart only bike will need the rectifier (as previously recommended).

I'm not the best with electrical, but shouldn't you get the size of rectifier that the fan draws? It won't matter if it's too big as the fan won't draw any more than it needs to run, right?

Use the rectifier that comes with the fan kit. That's all you need.
