Default Chain roller

Need to replace my lower chain roller on 05 ec250 and want some opinions. I have a TM Designs on my Honda and the plastic is so hard that it doesn't seem to always roll...chain just slides over it. This happens quite often if its wet and muddy. Even though it slides it still has little to no resistance. Anyone using these in their gasser? Stock one is a bit cheaper and will fit. I haven't seen a TM Design lip roller for this bike. Bike already had TM Design chain slider and chain guide installed when I got it. Any other option out there that has worked well? Thanks.

If it's not spinning freely, maybe the bearings are gone and not necessarily the hardness of the roller itself is the culprit ? My bearings have worn out in a year, i've put OEM with new bearings and they hold up just fine ... just make sure to keep an eye on the chain tension after each ride and tighten if needed.

The TM Designs never seemed to work right from the start. The slider and guide work great but im not sold on the roller. I kept it clean and one min it would roll the next it wouldn't. That is some serious plastic they make those things out of! Everyone seems to have a favorable opinion of the OEM roller. For the price it seems like a no brainer.

The stock roller is the way to go. Simple and it works.

I tried some kawasaki kx450 saw tooth rollers, from advice on here to reduce chain noise and have been very happy with them!
