Default over volting

i am blowing bulbs left and right. what would be the cause of this?

Check all your wiring connections first to be sure they are good. Blowing bulbs is usually from a bad voltage regulator (inside the regulator/rectifier unit).

On my bike it's inside the airbox on the left side below the battery.

Finally had the sidecover off so here's a pic. Not sure what good it will do you since I believe the quads use the 1999 style engine that has the Ducati type ignition.
