Default Messico exhausts

I was on the hunt for a new expansion pipe to replace my DEP and came across a site selling various pipes and was surprised to find they were selling messico! I had one of these years ago before I completely flattened it and loved the power delivery!

I've just purchased one for my 250 will report once it arrives if they are still as good as they used to be!

Just curious - Did you get the standard or the pro racing model of the pipe?

Went for the standard, couldn't justify the pro racing model, which I'm assuming is made from titanium.

Received the exhaust from Italy today, looks well made and very bling, not as nice as the Scalvini but better looking than the fmf or dep that I had before.

No issues mounting it to the bike, and it clears the radiator with more room than the DEP did.

Took it for a quick spin around the block, and it pulls harder and cleaner than the DEP with a good top end, it's also quieter than the DEP with a slightly deeper note, using the DEP silencer at the moment until I can find some more hangers for my Leo Vince S3 as the carbon ones cracked so I expect a better spread of power once I have that mounted as well.

Overall a good exhaust if a little pricey but its nice too know that messico still makes pipes for our bikes.

If this pipe is made of the same light weight material that my Messico is made from, be prepared for dents......

Is the pipe clear costed? Or is it natural, un coated?

That's a nice looking pipe.

It's natural uncoated steel, didn't weigh the pipes but when holding the old messico in one hand and the new in the other, the new one feels alittle heavier, but not much.
Will be mounting my carbon pipe guard as I expect this to pick up small dents or larger ones if I lay it down heavy!

Very nice looking pipe.

As for carbon guards. Keep in mind if hit too hard it will look ok on the outside until you remove and.... Yikes!!!

I have a DEP now. It is truly a POS.
The fit is poor and hangs down way too low.

gasgasman, you've tried a few pipes now. Whats your thoughts around the ones you've tried? I've not had to replace a stocker so don't have any useful real life experience on which offer the most useful spread of power.
