Too bad FMF doesn’t make a shorty version for these bikes.

I did have a thought about cutting my silencer down, anyone try this on a 18/19?

I intended to. I removed the can and opened it up when I first got the bike.. But would have needed to do some cut and welding and figured I'd just ride the bike instead.

My experience on the 2013 was that cutting the pipe back helped a lot!

Ah, I've heard some types only need to be cut down with no welding required. I only want it shorter for cosmetics really, it is extremely quiet as it is so I'm not worried about becoming a 2 stroke trumpet

took the bike out to Shotgun Creek trails yesterday, low elevation forest trails. I was able to spend more time on the bike this trip. I noticed is that through all gears, unless i really opened up the throttle, the bike sounded like to was sputtering and bogging tremendously. At times, i couldn't even make it up some of the hilly trails stuff unless i opened up throttle way more than my comfort level. Does this indeed sound like a jetting issue? i ordered a JD Jetting kit today and hopes that fixes it. Other wise the bike seems fine.

Yes, stock jetting is rich, also the head is pretty inefficient so you will want to get the squish set correctly

If you have a little bit of money to spend and want to take the lazy/easy route you can just pick up an RK tek head.
