Default Choke will not stay pulled up

Do I have to buy a new carb or is there a way to fix the little plunger?

Mine is the same way. Thanks for the answer to his Q~

I use a Gas Gas blue plastic clothes pin to hold the knob up. It fits perfectly under the choke knob. When I am done ridin and racin I clip it on the clutch line to keep it handy for the next time im out ridin.

It sounds like your choke assy is shot, if it will not stay up on it's own you need a new choke assy. It's also probably letting in dirt into the choke circuit and it then goes right into the engine

I don't know if it is a typo on GoFasters but it is $79

My CRF 450X did the same thing and I pulled the rubber boot up and wrapped some safety wire around the housing and twist it until you get sufficient tension to hold it up. Cut the twisted end close tuck it in and push the boot back on and you are good to go.

It is easier to do with the plunger removed. I can take some pics if needed.

I found a spare carb and performed the swap on my sons miniquad since it needed it as well...that was real easy. Hard to believe that is worth 80 bucks or even 35. Thanks for the help guys. I think I got this like a 3 foot putt. ;>)
