Default 36mm carb

Looking for a 36mm carb to do some experimenting with, it may not end up fitting my needs so I don't want to spend too much.
not sure exactly what years came with it, 11 or 12 I think?
Thanks.

Some 2011 models came with a 36mm carb fitted. Not many though.

Your best bet would be finding one out of a ktm that someone has replaced with a Lectron/SC.

Good idea jakobi.
I'll need to check and make sure the body of the carb is similar in dimension.
A proven 38mm would work as well for the sake of testing. I've been trying to find one locally to "borrow" to test it out.
