Ac racing subframe for Gas Gas

Anyone have experience with the Ac racing subframe? Mine doesnt want to line up with my seat bolt mounts = like 5/8ths off? Not to mention the difference on the silencer mounts and side panel mounts. I have aftermarket polisport plastic which did not mount up very well at all with stock subframe holes and my 2 exhaust pipes have both been to pacific crest for repair so I can tweak that also BUT 5/8ths on the seat mount-REALLY? Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Those sub frames are not made for Gas Gas'. So, modifications will be necessary.
The seat bracket will need to be replaced.
Talk to Steve at GoFasters, I know they have done a few conversions.

Thanks for the info Gasgasman! Pretty much what my shop guy said but never hurts to get another idea or opinion. Gonna fab some new seat mount brackets. Was taking the new seat to the upholstery shop for tall foam and cover anyway so gonna try and make it all sano.

OK if I relocate the seat base mounts forward to line up with subframe holes my seat is still too far back on the rear fender lip. I feel this will cause my new seat to crack at the base which is what started this whole process to begin with. So what I have here is = with the seat fully inserted towards front of bike the rear of the seat is sitting on top the rear fender lip. If I try to relocate fender rearwards I lose my ability to run airbox mounting bolts through fender plastic.
I'm totally fraustrated

Can you cut away the fender where the seat hits?
Or, maybe take a heat gun and soften the fender and push it down where the seat makes contact?

If you can post pics, I sure someone will have some better advice.

I have it mounted thanks to a friend who fabricated seat mounts for me. A bit in and back with threaded inserts (American no less,that was all he had at the time). Thanks to Hall's for service after the sell, and to clint in the service dept. for showing me the trick to getting the seat all the way forward on the two front mounts (even after 31 years of dirt biking I learn something new every day). Hall's had a stock subframe on hand for comparison and upon further inspection followed the contour of the seat base perfectly/which the ac racing subframe did not- but in defense of ac racing this subframe is made for a 98 kx250-not a Gas Gas. So in retrospect if I had the money too make the difference up for the stock one my gut feeling would have steered me towards the switch but on the other hand even with all the hassle the ac unit looks much beefier and if the stock one lasted this long I'll take my chances with this ac unit. I shoe gooed plastic m.c. crate pads on the fender under the seat to take up the space left by the lack of rise on the aftermarket subframe hoping this will keep my new seat base from breaking under flexing/stress. Decided not to trim overhang on rear seat base as that would have put even more stress on seat base to force down into fender like stock did. Wanted to share my trials and tribulations in case someone else were trying to decide on stock or aftermarket.
