Racing the '07 at RORR Sunday. I need to get this thing in a survivable condition before I can hammer up the hill with it. Lots of new log crossings after last weeks storm too. After that, breakin and service those forks before racing it. I may debut it in south Jersey, where my '07 is a bit soft. I get the impression this thing will be a sand whoop monster stock out of the box.

Picking up an '05 200 motor to rebuild and go in the '07 frame. Shane's new bike. He rode it Sunday without problems as a 250 but I think its just a bit much.

On my 11, I removed the allen screws with the little polyethylene bumpers (bumpers are too soft and too small). I made up large delrin bumpers that threaded over setscrews. Dimensioned so that the fork tubes clear the frame by 2.5mm. The frame paint is still intact. I bump up against the stops a lot during off trail excursions. Wound up with 42 degrees of steering lock per side. Does the 12 have less travel than the 11?

Not sure, but its noticably less than my '07 and I rode them back to back around the house last night. I was thinking about a nylon bolt. This is what I happen to have on hand, Neil's idea is much more professional.

Since you'll be running the broad mt enduro which is basically in my back yard.. just drop off the 12 on your way past, and I'll gently ride it around the mountain here for you while your racing.. and break it in for you.. you don't need to thank me.. just fill the tank.. its been a while since a made a batch of mix gas..

Glad to hear you finally got a hold of the new ride! It was almost painful reading your posts the last few months while you patiently waited. LOL Hope you enjoy it!

Congrats! Do all the 12's 250/300's come with the 2k2? Does the engine seem to spool up quicker?

You can remove the washers to gain about 1.5mm, but much more than that and you're running into the radiators.

This is the first new bike I've seen with a 2K2 in the last three years.
