Interesting info.. I have an 01 300 ec gasgas would you know what's needed for that? The same I'm guessing for around $900 to 1k to retrofit the starter.. and I don't really know but are the starters reliable or on the same level as the ktms? It would suck to throw down $900 and it be a problem design like the pumpkins.. I know there's a slavens mod to put wet oil lubrication for the ktms but not sure how great that is.. if it's a true fix or slowing the eventual gear strip.. Thanks anyway. It would be a worthwhile upgrade to me. The older gasgas are great bikes . The electric starter for me would be excellent. I'm not a rekluse guy.. I don't want any chance at all of freewheeling anywhere for our technical trails...
