Default Looking for some Belfair/Tahuya help

Hey there,

I have a day off next week and would like to make the trek up from Portland to ride Belfair. I have ridden Capitol severl times, Shelton Valley Enduro, but no Belfair yet.

As a 1st timer up there, any suggested routes? My brother and I will be riding together (GG EC250 and KTM 300). We are both B riders and would like to put in a good days ride of 50 miles or so.

Any suggestions? I have a pretty decent map (DNR)

Thanks

If its the right day of the week you may be able to persuade a personal tour guide that knows that maze of a forest very, very well. AKA REVERUP.

No map will keep you straight there unless you intend to ride 2 track all day. The user built single track is immense there, and I could take you out for 2 days in a row and not touch the same tracks just riding single track.

Let me know when your thinking, if its later next week I can probably swing it. Thursday or Friday would be a slam dunk, Wednesday a bit harder for me. Monday, Tuesday out.

BRAAAAP!

Well, I Talked with my bro today and we are now thinking Nestucca because it is closer and we didnt really want to tackle it without ever being there before. But, if could get a guided tour, it would be tempting.

I wont get off shift until about 7:30 am Fri morning, which would put us up ther around 10:30 or so.

I'll talk it over with my brother. If it rains all week, how will it hold up?

Great offer from a gasser guide would be hard to pass up

Be glad to hook up with you guys.
Tahuya, Belfair holds up to any amount of rain, but I have seen the water deep over the years. I don't think that will be the case for next week but will know more as the week goes on.
Let me know if your planning to come up asap, and we'll make it happen Friday.

I will also be riding next weekend if anyone wants to go for a spin.

Well, we talked yesterday and we are going to hit Nestucca instead. Closer to home and both of us have to be back by dark on Friday with family committments.

Thanks for the offer and we will be up at some point!

Any suggestions on the best event up there?

There are 2 timekeeper enduros held at Tahuya. Both first half of the year.

The Sparkplug opens the enduro calender and a couple months later my clubs enduro the Blackbear which wins best state enduro more times than not.

As far as other motorcycle events in the Tahuya, theres only poker runs.
