Default Parts for 2001 200ec

I'm looking at a 2001 200ec.

How are the parts avaliablilty for those?
Plastics also?

I do t expect the same as a new bike, but I'd still around and not hideously expensive...

Mark

Motocrosscenter has a few plastic kits that fit 2001 to 2006, and they are not that expensive.

I have a 99 EC200, ours are about the same (I think).

Halls Cycle has helped me.
Depending on what part you are looking for there are crossovers with KTM of the same year rage. Example, my front brake M/C piston kit is also the same as on a KTM 00' 200.

The biggest issue you will have is parts numbers and crossover part numbers, which is what I am finding to be the real frustration.

Do a search on here, there are a few post about interchanges. Parts can be had, you just have to look a bit harder to find them, if you don't want OEM.

Our riding group has 8 GG bikes ranging from 1998 to 2004 and all consumable parts are available new and GG specific parts like engine cases and trans parts are readily available used.

Rod made a post a while back about the top dealers list.

I'd recommend giving them a call as there doesn't seem to be anywhere stateside to reliably order parts from online.

In 2001, you have nissin brakes - older gasgas models pre-2000 use brembo... The ktm m/c part given above doesn't interchange with a 2001 gasgas...

Good to know, then someone must of changed mine to Nissin brakes.

I replaced the front with a Bremdo, because old one was GONE. Rear brake is a Nissin.

So who knows what is going on with my bike, it's a mixed match piece of......

Perhaps you are the same person who contacted me via e-mail?

Regardless....parts for older bikes....then contact a long term dealer like Budd Matto or Halls Cycles. They would be most likely to have what you need in stock however, pick the Gas Gas dealer to your liking and have them order thru Gas Gas Motos US if they don't have what you need in stock.

Here is the link to the dealer locator. http://gasgasmotos.us/dealer-locator/ (Looks like it's only half completed. I need to check with our IT guy Chris and get this fixed)

Good luck and if you need further assistance, drop me a line.
